Kent Union's main retail outlet is situated just off the Elliot roundabout on the ground floor of the Locke Building and trades for 115 hours each week offering everything you need to get you through the week

The store runs regular promotional offers and stocks a large range of products supplied from the Co-op including a range of Fairtrade and healthy eating products. We are always looking to improve and increase the offering for the more health conscious customers.
We deal with many local suppliers and are committed to supporting Fair Trade products. Essentials plays a vital part in Kent Unions 'For you not for profits' policy where all profits go back into providing services for students. We actively seek feedback from our customers to improve and increase our range of products so we can actually give the students what they want each and every day. The store accepts all major credit/debit cards including cash back facilities and also the UKC cashless card is accepted here. We also have E-Top up facilities available.
