The student committees are here to represent you. Their mission statement is:
"To ensure the welfare and happiness of all Students and represent to Kent Union and the University of Kent, whilst providing responsible social activities."
The student committees consist of a dedicated group of students who are still studying and who are devoted in making the lives of students better whilst they are at University.
This is through event planning, campaigning and representing those who belong to their college or Parkwood.
The student committees exist in all the colleges and Parkwood. They meet every Tuesday evening.
The presidents are elected on a cross- campus ballot every March to represent you and to also express your views at Union Council.
