STAND OUT - Training Opportunities
All students need more than the skills learnt in a lecture theatre or seminar room to help them prepare for the working world. This is why Kent Union offers additional training, via STAND OUT sessions, for students for free! You get a certificate of attendance after each session for your C.V, and can pick up some vital skills in the process.
Each session also counts as one of the 2 compulsary training sessions for the KSCV Gold, so if you are struggling to find some training before booking your Gold place, get yourself on one of these sessions!

Pop into the Student Activities office - VW building (above Essentials, the campus shop)
We ask that you give at least 48 hours notice if you are unable to attend a session, that way we can offer your place to another student.

Both UELT (Unit for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching) and the Careers Advisory Service also offer training sessions and online exercises.
